Copyright ©

I claim a copyright to all the words you see here, put together in the order you see them, or anything close to it.

I started writing this stuff in 2011, but the date each little bit was written is clearly indicated on the page.

I claim the copyright, not as part of a master plan to make money from the words, but because they are my children. I have grown rather attached to them, even if they do frustrate me at times; they don’t always come when I call for them. I don’t want my children exposed in a way that might be harmful to them. I want to protect them, to keep them from being abused by people I don’t know, people I haven’t given permission to be their guardian.

Perhaps you can have real children. If you are human, probability tells me that you can. Well, I cannot. So be happy. Play with your children and enjoy them while they are young. One day my children may reach the age of majority. They’ll be all grown up and can decide with whom they associate. Until then, I will protect and cherish them.

Having said that, if you want to play with my children, all I ask is that you ask. I’m likely to give permission, since I want my children to get out into the world and be exposed to others. That is the only way they will grow.
